Hi, I'm Mikaela, a DONA-certified birth doula based in Baltimore, MD. I'm here to support and advocate for you as your family steps into this new chapter with confidence and calm.
What I Offer
Birth Support
Continuous labor and birth support from early labor through delivery. Physical comfort measures, emotional guidance, and advocacy for your birth preferences — for you and your partner. I attend all hospitals, all birth centers, and home births where a licensed midwife is present.
- One prenatal visit
- On-call support from 37 weeks
- Continuous labor and birth attendance
- Postpartum follow-up visit
- Fee: $1,750 (payment plans available)
Childbirth Education
A private, personalized birth preparation session for you and your support person. We cover what matters to your specific situation — no generic classroom approach.
- Labor stages and comfort techniques
- Birth setting and team communication
- Newborn basics
- Custom to your birth preferences
- Fee: $200
Virtual Support
Remote and virtual doula support for families outside my in-person service area or those who prefer flexible, distance-based care. Available throughout your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period.
- Prenatal preparation sessions via video call
- Virtual labor support and guidance
- Postpartum check-ins
- Flexible scheduling to fit your needs

I'm Mikaela Iwaskiw, a DONA-certified birth doula based in Baltimore, Maryland. I believe every birthing person deserves continuous, compassionate support and a knowledgeable advocate in their corner.
Whether you're planning a hospital birth, a birth center experience, or a home birth with a midwife, I'm here for you.
I hold the CD(DONA) credential through DONA International, completed my training in January 2023, and am certified in First Aid and CPR. I'm happy to discuss payment plans to make sure support is accessible to you.
